Wax Museum (1-2 pm) - Friday, June 7 No Bus Passes for the Rest of the Year: We are down to one bus combining both of our routes so there is no space for extra kids to ride home with friends until the end of the year. Please let your families know about this. If kids are going home with a friend, parents will need to pick them up at school. At-home Reading: Students are expected to read 20 minutes a night, with a goal of 100 minutes each week. Your signature is required on their weekly minute totals every Monday evening. Civics: The students are working with me on the Washington State OSPI required CBA (Classroom Based Assessment) in Civics called, You Decide. Students will discuss the question: Should public schools have required school uniforms for students? Students are required to:
Nutrition: Students are learning about some key nutrients we get from food, what those nutrients do to keep our bodies healthy, and how much we need of each nutrient. To place an order, go to www.scholastic.com/bookclubs, select "parent" and Continue. Books will be delivered in 1-2 weeks after the last day to order. As always, our class gets free books and materials with every online order placed.
